Office of the Director

Position Title: Planning Officer II

Item No.: SEIB-PLO2-1-1998

Salary Grade: 15

Annual Salary: 330,780.00

Qualification Standards:

  • Education: Preferably MPA/ MBM/MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration/Social Science 
  • Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training preferably in planning and formulation of basic policies/ guidelines
  • Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience preferably in data collection and preparation of status/progress reports and  evaluation and analysis of status and progress of technical projects
  • Eligibility: Career Service-Professional, Second Level Eligibility

Finance and Administrative Division

Position Title: Accountant III

Annual Salary: 469,812.00 

Qualification Standards

  • Education: Preferably MBM/MBA or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/ Commerce major in Accounting
  • Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training preferably in Government Accounting, Internal Audit, Tax Compliance
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in various accounting aspects, with good oral and written communications skills and computer literate
  • Eligibility: RA 1080

Qualification Standards: 

  • Education: Preferably Master's degree in Public Administration/ Industrial Relations/Human Resources Management or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management/ Psychology/ Business Administration and other related fields
  • Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training preferably in human resource management/ supervisory management/ leadership
  • Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience preferably in the implementation of strategic HR related programs and initiatives; possesses leadership and interpersonal communication skills; computer literate

  • Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training in management, civil and electrical works and building maintenance
  • Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience in management, civil and electrical works and building maintenance
  • Eligibility: Career Service-Professional, Second Level Eligibility

Qualification Standards: 

  • Education: Completion of two years studies in College preferably in Information and Computer Technology

  • Experience: One (1) year relevant experience in computer operation or has a background in MS Office, MS Access and PHP/SQL Applications

Position Title: Senior Science Research Specialist

Qualification Standards

  • Education: Preferably MS Degree in Statistics/Mathematics or BS degree in Statistics/Mathematics
  • Training: Preferably sixteen (16) hours or eight (8) hours of relevant training (statistical applications, research or research management, project management, etc.)
  • Experience: Two (2) years experience in research and project development work
  • Eligibility: Career Service - Professional, Second Level Eligibility

Position Title: Science Research Specialist II

Salary Grade: 16

Annual Salary: 360,528.00 

Qualification Standards

Education: BS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

Training: Preferably eight (8) hours or four (4) hours of relevant training (IT Systems development/ programming/web development, etc.)

Experience: Preferably two (2) years or one (1) year experience in information systems development/web administration/database management, and other related tasks; with knowledge of basic IT network administration and security; and preventive maintenance of computer and networks

Eligibility: Career Service - Professional, Second Level Eligibility
