International competitions are good venues to sharpen the skills of Filipino students and enable them to withstand pressure in competing. It provides the environment for the student to develop logical thinking, math and science adeptness and logical reasoning.

The SEI provides support programs for the participation of the Philippine delegates to the various international science and mathematics competitions, which include the intensive training of the delegates in preparation for the competitions.
