Participation in International Assessment Studies of Educational Achievement in Science and Mathematics

The Philippines participates in international assessment studies of education achievement in science and mathematics to provide an international comparative study of primary and secondary science and mathematics achievement levels of students.

These studies provide the baseline data the Philippines need to determine in what areas to improve on and to develop and implement appropriate intervention programs.
