SEI to hold 2nd National Graduate Scholars’ Conference

The Science Education Institute (SEI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) brings you the 2nd National DOST-SEI Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program – National Science Consortium (ASTHRDP- NSC) Scholars’ Conference on 21-22 February 2013 at the Traders Hotel, Manila.

The two-day conference will feature oral and poster presentations from the works of DOST-SEI graduate scholars in various science, technology and engineering disciplines. This convergence of stellar Filipino minds will serve as a good venue for sharing of ideas and new developments in line with its theme “Innovations to Accelerate S&T Human Resource Development”.

The activity which is in line with SEI’s drive to boost the country’s roster of scientists and engineers will also feature plenary sessions on various topics like ethics in research, intellectual property and others. Renowned names in critical fields of sciences will also be present in the activity. DOST Secretary Mario Montejo will provide the keynote message before the participants.
